Address Confidentiality Program
The Colorado Address Confidentiality Program is a statewide service that provides a legal substitute address and mail forwarding services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking/harassment, as well as protected healthcare workers. This is a no-cost resource that can help improve a survivor’s safety plan. Visit the Enrollment Page to find out about eligibility and the application process.
Brothers Redevelopment, INC
Brothers Redevelopment is a nonprofit that provides housing and a variety of housing-related services for the region’s low-income, elderly and disabled residents. Through the organization’s free housing helpline, Colorado Housing Connects, people can gain access to support around eviction and foreclosure prevention, affordable housing, tenant-landlord issues, homebuying, home repair, and additional resources to for all other kinds of housing questions.
Center on Fathering
The mission of the Center on Fathering is to strengthen, encourage and support fathers to be actively and positively involved in the care and development of their children. The Center has information and services for all fathers, regardless of their situation. The Center also encourages mothers and daughters, who might have questions about fathering, to utilize the Center on Fathering. Anyone in the community that would like to learn more about the benefits for father involvement and the gifts men give to their children is welcome to contact the Center on Fathering. Child Support Services
CSS: The El Paso County Child Support Services Unit establishes paternity and child support orders, modifies child support orders, and enforces child support orders (and spousal maintenance orders when owed with a child support order). In addition, the CSS Unit has the Parent Opportunity Program (POP) which assists parents who owe child support in finding employment and overcoming barriers to the payment of support. FSR: The Family Support Registry is Colorado’s state disbursement unit for child support and/or spousal maintenance payments. The FSR receives, records and disburses support payments (for enforcement of support orders, see the CSS Unit information above). Colorado Legal Services
Colorado Legal Services is a nonprofit statewide law firm. Our mission is to provide meaningful access to high quality civil legal services in the pursuit of justice for as many low-income persons and members of vulnerable populations throughout Colorado as possible. There is no cost for our services. CLS aims to provide meaningful access to basic necessities such as housing, freedom from violence, and access to public benefits including healthcare. CLS provides advice, brief services, and full representation the following areas: Civil protection orders based on domestic violence or elder abuse, Allocation of parental responsibilities actions (custody), Dissolution of marriage actions (divorce), Forcible entry and detainer actions (eviction), Debt collection defense, Basic estate planning, Appeal of denial of public benefits and overpayments, Tax law, Special education law, Foreclosure defense, Obtaining a state ID. CPCD Head Start
CPCD Head Start is a nonprofit preschool that partners with school Districts 2, 3, 8, 11, and 49. The mission of CPCD Head Start is to prepare children for success in school and in life by providing high-quality, comprehensive early childhood services in partnership with families and the community. CPCD offers full and half day classes to children from birth to five years of age, and the programs are provided at no cost to families who qualify.
Community Economic Defense Project
Our Mission: We partner with low-income and working people to build economic and racial equity. We do this by confronting economic abuse and investing in community wealth. We use an ever-evolving set of legal, economic and advocacy tools to challenge and dismantle unjust systems, building quickly towards a world where all people have what they need to live and thrive.
Our Services: CEDP’s scope now encompasses a fully-integrated response to economic hardship and innovative service delivery models. This means our work has expanded far beyond eviction defense as we advocate for rights for mobile home residents, directly prevent homelessness through diversion efforts, offer foreclosure and HOA defense services, take on predatory consumer and medical debt, and defend and provide aid to victims of non-consensual towing.
Dragonfly Landing Family Services
DragonFly Landing is a Community Change Agent dedicated to enacting a more holistic model of Human Services provision. We are the change we want to see. Our empowerment first, person centered lenses are the foundation for how we provide quality, equitable, accessible support services for members of our community. Far too many individuals and families are desperately attempting to navigate a multitude of systems and services for themselves and/or family members. Our role is to provide a space where folx can drop their woes and worries. We offer intensive services to assist with establishing or maintaining stability.
El Paso County Bar Association
The EPCBA Lawyer Referral & Information Service (LRIS) is designed to match you with a qualified, full-rate attorney and additional resources for your situation. The mission of the Pikes Peak United Way Family Success Center is to serve the entire family and empower community members to become financially stable, grow, and accomplish their goals. Fort Carson Victim Advocacy Program
The Victim Advocacy Program (VAP) provides crisis intervention and follow-up support services to adult victims of domestic violence. Services include, but are not limited to: 24 hour on call telephonic crisis response, safety planning, information on reporting options to include restricted (confidential) or unrestricted reporting, assistance with obtaining a civilian protection order and/or a military protection order, guidance and explanation about the Army’s investigation process for incidents of domestic abuse, advocating on your behalf with Command when requested, and valuable information regarding on and off Post referrals and resources. Victim Advocacy services are available to Service Members, their current or former spouses, an individual with whom the Service Member shares a child, and/or a significant other of a Service Member who shares the same household. Victim Advocacy services are provided at no cost to eligible participants. Victim Advocacy services are available via our 24/7 crisis hotline at 719-243-7907. The Independence Center
The Independence Center is the local home of civil rights for people with disabilities. Working with individuals, their families, and the community, we create independence so that all may thrive. We are not an assisted living center; instead, our organization provides information, resources, and support to help people with disabilities live, learn, work, play, and participate in civic life as equals. Our services and programs are available to anyone in our service area who self-identifies as having a disability. This includes those with a cognitive, physical, or mental health disability, who have blindness or low vision, or who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing/Deaf Blind. Together, we are working to redefine disability to focus on the unique abilities of our communities, so all are Known, Valued, and Included.
Inside Out Youth Services
At Inside Out Youth Services, we are dedicated to providing quality programs and services to LGBTQIA2+ youth in Colorado Springs and the surrounding counties. Our wide range of offerings includes support groups, mentoring opportunities, educational workshops, and social activities, designed to meet the unique needs of LGBTQIA2+ youth and young adults at all stages of their journey.
Kingdom Builders
Kingdom Builder’s Family Life Center (KBFLC) is a culturally specific nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals, strengthening families, and uplifting communities impacted by domestic violence, sexual violence, trauma, housing instability, and systemic barriers. With a strong focus on serving BIPOC communities, particularly African American individuals and families, KBFLC provides trauma-informed advocacy and holistic support designed to promote healing, safety, stability, and long-term success. While our programming intentionally addresses disparities impacting underserved and historically marginalized communities, we proudly provide support and services to all survivors and individuals seeking assistance.
Our services include emergency safe housing, transitional and rapid rehousing assistance, culturally responsive advocacy, crisis intervention, case management, economic empowerment programming, life skills education, youth violence prevention and intervention, mentoring, and community outreach. Through our Project Right Direction youth program, we work to interrupt cycles of violence and support youth through mentorship, prevention education, and positive community engagement.
At KBFLC, we are committed to meeting individuals and families where they are while creating safe spaces for healing, empowerment, and transformation.
Pikes Peak Library District
Pikes Peak Library District (PPLD) is a nationally recognized system of public libraries serving a population of more than 650,185 in El Paso County, Colorado. With fifteen facilities, online resources, and mobile library service, PPLD responds to the unique needs of individual neighborhoods and the community at large. Our mission is to provide resources and opportunities that impact individual lives and build community. We strive to reach all members of the community, providing free and equitable access to information and an avenue for personal and community enrichment.

Purple Mountain Recovery
Purple Mountain Recovery is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in July 2022 with the aim of providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community who are recovering from mental health and addiction issues.
We are members of the LGBTQIA2+ community and allies with lived experience in mental health and substance use disorder. We know how difficult it can be to access resources and receive the level of support needed to heal because we have faced many of these same challenges. We believe everyone deserves equal access to these resources and support. We aim to ease the stigmas that surround addiction, harm reduction, mental health, and recovery in our community and beyond.
The Resource Exchange
It is our honor and privilege to serve approximately 13,000 infants, children, teenagers, adults, and seniors in El Paso, Pueblo, Teller, and Park counties. Advocating for independence and inclusion, TRE partners with children and adults who have a variety of disabilities, delays, mental health or long-term care needs. We do this using a person-centered approach in coordinating care, promoting choices, and collaborating with community partners. TRE has relationships with over 200 community partners to which we refer our families. Our partners join with TRE to increase opportunities for the people we serve.
TESSA
TESSA is a Colorado Springs–based nonprofit that provides confidential, comprehensive support to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking. Founded in 1977, TESSA offers a 24/7 Safeline, (719) 633-3819, for immediate crisis support, emergency shelter through its Safehouse, and walk-in advocacy services that help survivors navigate safety planning, court systems, and community resources. Additional services include legal assistance with protection orders, individual and group counseling for adults and youth, and housing support with case management to help individuals achieve long-term stability. Through these integrated services, TESSA supports thousands of individuals each year across El Paso, Teller, and Douglas Counties.
Westside Cares
Westside CARES provides care and compassion to our neighbors in need. Serving the west side of El Paso County (west of I-25), Westside CARES offers: food, rent and utilities assistance, mail delivery services, some identification services, health care, and housing navigation. The Justice Center
The Justice Center has been working in the Pikes Peak region to increase and promote access to justice since 2011. They accomplish this through three programs: Find-a-Lawyer providing free and reduced cost legal representation in the 4th Judicial District, Ask-a-Lawyer running free legal clinics about Colorado law through the phone, over email and in person, and Learn-with-Lawyers offering free legal resources and tools to attorneys, licensed legal paraprofessionals, their support staff, and the general public.
